Chemical and Mechanical Results

The results of the chemical or mechanical tests may be automatically uploaded or manually entered. The chemical and mechanical results are compared against the chemical standards and mechanical requirements entered in the quality system. If the results are outside the parameters then a stop flag is immediately placed on the batch to prevent it from moving on and incurring additional production costs, until addressed by the quality department.

Where possible the results are automatically collected, from the spectrograph or tensile tester, removing possible data entry errors during manual entry. Automatically reading results increases confidence in the results and reduces the operators time entering the results.
