The Quality Control menu of Castit provides users in the Quality department with various tools for ensuring that all production processes and results adhere to Quality Control standards. When completing certain phases of the production process, users may enter the acquired data into various modules.

All part related information is stored in one location including drawings and other paperwork so it is instantly available and up to date for everyone.

Castit provides an extra level of Quality Assurance.


Specifications module allows the management of the specifications that are assigned to part and processes. The Specification Master allows users to define the various specifications that may be required throughout the production processes.

  • Quality review of specification revisions.
  • Web based viewing of all specifications.


Maintain the information required to produce ( inject and assemble ) quality wax patterns.


Maintain the shell information required for the shell department ( layers, robot programs and more ).


Maintain the foundry information that is required by the foundry department ( dewax, autoclave, burnout, pouring, water wash, cutoff and sandblast ).

Non Destructive testing

Defines the parameters for x-ray and penetrant ensuring the testing is done to specification.

Dimensional Inspection

Maintain the inspection requirements ( report) that are to be performed as per the quality requirements of each part.

Sampling Plan

Specifies sample plan codes to be used for certain procedures, such as dimensional inspection. Each sample plan code may be used to define the number of parts to be used as sample within a numbered range of parts.

Techniques / Work Instructions

Allows web based techniques ( work instructions ) to be maintained with images and video instructions.

Employee Requirements  

Adds requirements that employees must have to perform their jobs and when retesting is require. Employees that are overdue are locked out until they receive the proper training or certification.

Corrective Action

Allows the management of the Corrective Actions.
