Outside Services

The outside services module allows operators to track production of parts that are subcontracted to other manufacturing companies(Outside Services). The operations that can be subcontracted, which suppliers can perform these operations and the requirements are maintained in the Quality Requirements Module. This module allows opeators to track when parts leave(Release) and when they return(Reciept) from the subcontractor. After the parts are received, as part of the inspection system process, a supplier certificate must be electronically attached. Any supplier certificates are scanned and attached to the part so they may be easily printed when the final product is shipped to the customer or displayed on the screen for an Auditor.
