All the information associated with a tool, such as owner, tool recognition and costs are maintained by Castit and used when creating Tool Work Orders. All lifetime costs, including labor, associated with the tool and the customer billing are tracked to know if the tool is profitable.

Priorities may also be set on Tool modifications so higher priority modifications are done first to meet production deadlines.
